Mike is a Principal Trainer at University of Colorado Health in Fort Collins. His area of focus is electronic medical record training for clinicians. Mike worked as a physical therapist from 1987 to 2004, particularly enjoying the patient and family education aspects of PT. He began the transition to the training world in 2003, returning to school to work on a graduate degree in adult education. In 2004, Mike began teaching nurses and other clinicians how to use the electronic medical record at Poudre Valley Health System. He coordinated EMR training for inpatient staff at PVHS from 2006 to 2012. Mike’s current focus is EMR training for inpatient nursing staff.
Mike has been a member of National ATD since 2009, and a member of ATD-NRC since 2011. He values the information and continuing education made available at both the national and local level.
