Jackie’s professional career started almost 2 decades ago in hospitality, primarily with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, in both operations and Human Resources. During this period, she’s conducted training focused on creating a warm on-boarding experience plus developing other’s abilities to deliver stellar customer service.
After moving to Colorado, Jackie jumped headlong into the world of learning and development by creating more service oriented offerings along with professional development courses for Forever Resorts’ leadership. And then it happened…she entered the brave new world of Telecom.
Jackie started with West in Longmont as a data analyst and eventually made her way to the Technical Training Team focused on Wireless technologies. Eventually, her focus made its way back to customer service while adding Crucial Conversations and professional growth to the mix. During this time the biggest shift was moving from the classroom to e- and blended offerings. This challenge has lead her to joining ATD-NRC in an effort to find out more about the world of learning and development. As a result of this new membership, Jackie was able to discover best practices and theories to improve existing courses. The very next year she became a power member and advanced in her job to a becoming a member of the corporate West Learning team. Jackie recently completed the Improving Human Performance Certificate program though ATD in late 2016.
As the VP of Programs, she hopes to use relevant data from past surveys to invite speakers that can add applied value to those in our profession.
